I think in those countries the penalty for the crime scratching of an ex-husbands Porsche is death by stoning and then being run over by the Porsche.

My first divorce and my first Porsche coincided closely ... this would have been 1990 or so, 1980 911SC Targa, silver. I had my son, who was 5, for the weekend, and he met my new girlfriend. I did the exchange with the ex at the pier in Naples, FL. We were standing next to the Porsche, when this knockout blonde 22-year-old parades by in high heels and a tiny bikini, and my son says, helpfully, "Look, mommy, she looks just like daddy's new girlfriend." Her face clenches. Wham! She kicks the Porsche ... fortunately, on the rocker panel, which did no damage except to her foot. Sadly, the 22-year-old was much better looking than the new girlfriend, although she was blonde, too.

I think you should high five your son on the anniversary of this occasion every year, secretly, so only you know why...

My ex hated my 911. I think she was in it maybe two times.
My last girlfriend loved cars but didn't like when I bought the 911 as she realized I was spending my money on it and not her.

I got the Porsche too but she got 11 years of alimony and too many other things to count. Oh well, got a great wife now.
