The sales guy said they shut down the website code because of abuse.

There are still making good money on them. They are still like 10% over what they wholesale them for to retailers.

 

I forgot with forum, but the thread said the original promo code was good until 01/18. Can't imagine it be for one day if the intended audience were CES attendees.

The offer is still working this a.m! I just called the sales number (no wait) and was able to get the 40% discount on the Max2 by using booth #1221. It ships out Monday. With an extended 2 year warranty (3 years total) for an additional $29 the total bill was only $389. Not too shabby.

FWIW my card was just charged for my order placed Friday for a Max2. Seems to have worked. Nice!

 

Cool! I called in this morning to add the EL and extended warranty. Still estimated 2 week shipping for the redline.
