I just saw an incredibly sexy white 911 with aerokit cup and, best of all, MARTINI STRIPES driving on Georgetown Pike crossing the 495 beltway. To whomever owns this car -- I APPROVE, MY FRIEND

Putting livery on a car that doesn't go to the track is kinda ricey....

 

The Martini racing stripes are actually available right from the factory now.

We kinda like them too. We did our 991 Turbo in the Martini dress-up.

 

There is a GT3 here in Dallas

 

1. Maybe the car was on the way to the track.

2. It's just cosmetic who cares. Do only track cars have the right to an aero package?

3. It's hard for a 100K car to be labeled "ricey"

4. Some people (not myself) would criticize your aftermarket wheels and head turning neighbor cursing muffler as a "mid life crisis".

5. Life is short. If you paid for it, enjoy whatever floats your boat.

 

I agree with you STG. I enjoy seeing people mod their cars with offbeat wheels like Perts red HRE's or even these decals. The decals or wheels come off easy enough. Some of it is not my taste but still like to see others try different things with the 991.

 

I want to have the Martini Livery on my car at some point in the future. I don't think I would keep it on full time, which is why I won't buy the decals that are currently for sale from Porsche...magnets or something similarly temporary would be perfect, especially for track days / photoshoots. I am such a huge fan of the look!
