Supplier of 7 speed MT?
Hi,

I was wondering which company supplies the 7 speed manual transmission fpr the 991 series.

Is it Aisin who supplied the 6MT for the 997/997.2 or did they switch to ZF or another company?

Great question. Getrag does the GT cars and i knew about asin but the 7MT supplier i dont know

On my window sticker of my 2014 Carrera S with manual transmission, it says Country of Origin for the Transmission: JAPAN.

Very likely Aisin!

I was not too happy with that transmission in my 997.2.....
