1 year service for 991 and cost??
Has anyone done their 1 year or 10,000 mile service?
I bought my base 991 3.4L in July 2014 and it only has 2,000 miles currently. The computer is displaying the need for an oil change. I realize that the computer was probably activated in April 2014 and is on a timed display, but is the oil change already needed?
I called the dealer and they are recommending me to do the 1 year service. However they quoted me around $900. Now I realize that its a 991, but is that price accurate? I think its a little steep!
Also, does anyone know what the 1 year service involves? Do they do anything to the computer system? If its only an oil change and tire rotation, I could probably do it myself.
Thanks

Croly Hap that is a lot of money! My cost for the first service on my TTS was $225. Dunno if there is any difference between this for a 991 vs 991 Turbo, but I would think mine'd be more expensive. Makes me appreciate my Atlanta Porsche Dealer's service pricing structure.

You really should. I change the oil at 5000 intervals. I do every other change just so I can drop by the dealer at every 10k mark have them look it over and put the stamp in the warranty book.
It's an easy process and I recently purchased Race Ramps to make it easier
