Kline Inconel exhaust and header install and first impression
I have order my Kline Inconel exhaust and headers a while back and finally I have received all the parts last week. I want to thanks Kline for building me a very high quality exhaust and I am very happy with their work.
The exhaust was shipped directly to ReinArt Design (Kline official dealer in Hong Kong). And I send the car in for installation today. It took a little more than 3 hours to install the exhaust and headers. The fitment of the exhaust is perfect. It actually takes about an hour to install the exhaust and headers, much quicker than taking the stock unit apart. For anybody located in Hong Kong looking for shop to work on their porsche, I totally recommend ReinArt Design. Their service is extremely good.

Impression after driving the car with the new system for 50km
1. Weight saving: I save about 30lbs at the back of the car with the Inconel exhaust and headers, impressive. (sorry, I use my bathroom scale to weight the part, but I guess it will give you a rough idea about the weight of the stock and Kline exhaust)
Stock headers: 10.4 lbs
Stock Side muffler :14.2 lbs
Stock center muffler: 25 lbs

2. Sound: I love the sound of the system. With the value both open and close, there is absolute no drooling at any rpm, surprise. And with the extremely thin Inconel material, you may expect it will sound very raspy at high rpm. And no, it is not raspy at all, surprise. It actually sounds very deep at lower rpm and it screams (really screams) after 4k rpm. It sounds way better than Kline videos (I am not sure if the headers make any different in sounds cause I have 100 cell cat headers). I have to say I love the sound of the system. The only complain I have is the exhaust is a bit too quiet at lower rpm for my taste.
3. Power: With the 100cell cat, I am sure the exhaust will make some power. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to send the car to dyno before installing the exhaust. I do feel the car pull harder at higher revs, but to be honest, my butt dyno became so bias after spending a lot of money on an exhaust system. And, the sound does make the car feel faster tho. Btw, no CEL warning for the 100 cell cat.
Overall, I am very happy with the exhaust and I highly recommend Kline to anyone who wants to get a really exhaust (not just some deleted pipes). I will try to take some video post it up and see if I can capture the sound of the exhaust.

I have to share this one to everyone here because I really can't imagine anyone will not like Kline's exhaust. I try my best to use words and pictures to describe the experience.

Have had my Kline on for 2 months now and really love it. I disconnected the symposer so I could get the real exhaust sound from the outside. Agree on all points. Sound is deep with a great growl above 4000 rpm valves closed.
Valves open it is a beast but deep and throaty sounding. I have taken it to our cars and coffee and have been approached by several Porsche owners regarding the exhaust. Enjoy.
