If I would have won, I would have hidden it, stayed in the same house, kept the same cars and donated anonymously to avoid crazy people, threats against my family and those that would look at me as a hick that won the lottery instead of a semi-successful businessman. Glad I saved the buck and didn't play.

Added: I forgot to include being continually hit up from dead beat distant family members looking for a handout.

Actually, you saved 2 bucks!

BTW - I wasted $6 (or should I say I donated $6 to the winners)

Story out of CA is that there is one winner there... a 27 yr old hedge fund manager. Already successful, already "wealthy." His strategy? He bought 15,000 tickets for $30,000. Guess that was a calculated investment that paid off big time!

Didn't care or bother to buy the ticket. Gotta work hard to reap the benefits not hoping to win a lottery.
