I've begun doing HPDE's in my 991 S and was looking at my options for neck support. I have a standard 3 point seat belt and no cage so a Hans isn't an option. Anyone use a neck collar? If so, any thoughts on which ones you like or would avoid?

 

I always wore a neck collar back in my days of HPDE. I didn't realize that there were different options, but they are quite inexpensive, so just go buy one made by Simpson or some other trustworthy company.

If you continue to do HPDE, you should really look into a harness bar. There are many options, most will not permanently modify your car, and having a secure five-point harness system is not only safer for you and your instructor, but with one you won't have to fight to stay in your seat. That means that you won't get as tired as quickly, and you can enjoy your day.
