Sport chronos on manual transmision, is it worth it?

Like the topic says,

Well you get the Dynamic Engine Mounts and Rev Matching (which I like). Also makes the car more desirable if/when you decide to sell it. It's a worthwhile option IMO.

Agree. I had Chrono Package and MT with my 991 C4 and loved that combination.

i bought a manual c2s without sports chrono. sports chrono with the manual automatically rev matches on downshifts. i prefer to heel and toe myself. plus i think the stop watch looks silly on the dash but thats just me.

Thanks for the info

Do you still Get the sport button?

Does this take care of the throttle being more responsive without the sport chronos?

i have the sport button on 100% of the time. i heard you can make the throttle more responsive with a sprint booster which kinda makes the throttle like sport plus mode. i find the throttle response just fine in sport mode. i have read complaints that the throttle response can be twitchy in sport plus mode.

the sports chrono package cannot be retrofitted so not having sports chrono as one member mentioned may affect resale. I'm not selling my car. it's the last of the naturally aspirated manual 911s

I have the sport chrono on my 14 991.1 S manual and I love it. First thing I do is press the sport plus button after I get in. Love the auto rev match feature (especially with a sport exhaust !) and actually think the wart looks cool. I've specced it on my 2 prior Porsche's as well. Gives you an extra option - when you don't feel like auto rev match, just don't press the button. It's also a conversation piece when you have someone in the car.
