MPSC2s for dry weather and the track; MPSSs for everyday duties.

If they make the size you need, I would think the Pirelli Trofeo or the R888 being the stickiest tire you can put on.

The information has been in several of the mags. They should be here in March.

Michelin 4 S seems promising. I never liked the PSS much. Could have me liking Michelin again.

My dealer is quoting $2200 for a set of PS4S installed and mounted.

They didn't itemize it but if it costs $1600 delivered from Tire Rack then he is charging $150 to mount and balance each tire and also not providing the free protection plan that tire Rack and Discount Tire offer on all tires.

Once you drive with Michelins the P craps will be in the trash or up for sale.

Sport Cup 2's for the track days and the new Sport 4S for the daily driving.

You need to find a new dealer

Sport Cup 2's, mounted and balanced tire fee's etc etc all in $1,978. Labor was a flat $200 total (that is in the $1,978)
245/35/20 and 305/30/20

If you buy them from tire rack, it doesn't matter who installs them, you're covered by their protection plan.

This is always fun, so many different opinions.
I figure, Porsche R & D is smarter than me, and they work with Pirelli. Works for me.
Nice to know...nobody will protest because someone used Michelin.

We had a briefing by a tire manufacturer last PCA meeting and it seems there is a great deal of politics and financial negotiation (as well as engineering) in the tires that Porsche picks.
