2017 Carrera new true costs

What is a reasonable discount off the sticker price for a 2017 Carrera?

Thanks

I don't have a good number for you, but there is a bigger discount on a car the dealer already has on the lot than if you wanted to custom build one.

Are you sure? One poster on this or the other forum said he got 6% off in downtown Toronto. They weren't prepared to make that deal with me over the phone, the max they would go to is 2%. I did a bit better than that in my local market. It depends on how many cars your dealer has, how many it can sell and the time of year. With cars left over in September, I think you might hit 5%+ in Canada, but not at this time of year.

Currently Downtown doesnt have many if any new 911s in inventory for sale. GREAT place to buy a car. My experience couldnt have gone better.

I found them nice in the phone too, but they wanted to sell a car to someone in Toronto. Last time I checked they had 3 cars. My dealer has zero and everything they get one in, it sells in a matter of days. Downtown Toronto would sell to me, but at 2% off MSRP, which was not appealing to me. Pfaff and Toronto North have cars in inventory, but as soon as things warm up, the reasonably priced ones will be gone. After that they'll be trickling in at the rate of a couple a month for each dealership. Selling into a 6M+ GTA population, that isn't a lot of cars to go around.

Pfaff had a white on red 991.2 in their showroom for months and wouldnt sell it as they wanted a car to display! It was their only unsold 911. Was at Downtown last week and silver Turbo was only 911 left in showroom.

Most dealers I contacted were stuck at 2%, my dealer ultimately did a bit better and dropped the doc fees. My first 911. I'll sit across the table from a couple of Toronto dealers next time to see if I can do better. As to no cars on TO lots, I think you'll start seeing them in a few weeks. I think unsold cars start showing up in later April through August, assuming the dealer was able to get allocations which I'm told by dealers have been very tight.

I'm getting 6.2% in the Midwest and about 7% in California after sending a few emails / messages.

Sounds like I should bite...

MSCHWA3439 is infamous around these parts
The answer to that question is variable. I just took delivery of a new 2017 C4cab that I built to order a few months back and the dealer gave me 9% off MSRP. however, this was my 7th Porsche with this dealer. My friends were quoted 6% from their local dealers after some hard bargaining. Hope this helps.
