993 TurboThis community is about the last air cooled twin turbocharged Porsche 911. Model year 1996 - 1997. Also inclusive in this forum is talk on the final 182 Porsche 911 Turbos built in 1997 known as the Turbo S.
Got a call. 993 TT S. Silver/Grey. 17,000 miles. No stories, no paint work, no bodywork, no issues. Very reputable seller. South of 110k. Right car, right price, wrong time. Damn, I am already regretting it. I may never have another opportunity to own the same car for that money, but it just doesn't make sense right now.
Why the hell do we torture ourselves? Why can't I just be happy with what I have?

Dammit.
isn't this same car on dupont registry for $159k? If so what a friend to offer it so low it's too bad you didn't pull that trigger right away.
Uh, what is up with that "Turbo S" script on the rear? 100% not original. At least it doesn't say "Terbo Es". But close. Even if it were repainted, why would the script on the tail not be original?

So the big S is not correct? I have one that didn't have the Big S and it made me think mine isn't real. I'm glad you said this and hopefully my all original low miles is the correct on the back I just picked it up
