993 TurboThis community is about the last air cooled twin turbocharged Porsche 911. Model year 1996 - 1997. Also inclusive in this forum is talk on the final 182 Porsche 911 Turbos built in 1997 known as the Turbo S.
A friend sent these pictures over to me. A white 993 GT2 and a Gembella Extremo he came across. Thought I'd share them with you. Such beautiful cars!

The Gemballa Extremo is one of two built. They made a black one and a yellow one. The yellow one was owned by a friend of mine, he sold it about two weeks ago to a guy in Austria.
Car is based on a 993 from 1997.The flat six engine produces 600 bhp,720 Nm torque and it has a topspeed of 220 miles per hour.
I have some pictures of it when I first saw it on the road. I'll try to find them!

I think the 993 GT-2 is by far the sexiest GT2 to date....right from the track and onto the street....just by looking at it, it looks purpose built.....thanks for the great pics
