K16g Turbo's
So how much power can K16g's produce? Are they even worth doing or should you go straight to K24 hybrids? Type of driving is all street.

The 16g compressor is better (newer design) than the K24 compressor if you wanted to compare the two. I was going to go that route but ended up going with a K24/18g setup instead. Proto does the tuning for the k16/16g, don't know if anyone else does or not.
Get the K16/K16g's instead of the k16/k24's if you were thinking of going that route however I think the K24/18gs are the better option

I agree the K24/18G's are the way to go. Talk to Dan at vivid racing 480-966-3040 x-222, he'll walk you through it. Check out this thread, there's a lot of info out there.

You must good tunning programs and free flow exhaust regardless whatever turbos you choose. That said, with the K24 hybrid variations and race gas program you will always be on "KILL" mode.

I've also got a set of the K16/16g's (brand new) if anyone is interested. Purchased these prior to going the K24/18g route

What is a K16g versus the stock K16?
My RS Tuning car has K16/24 and it makes 519 HP and 588 ft lbs. on their engine dyno. I would think this is as close to the upper limit for a K16.

The limited factor with the K16 in general is the hotside (which is why I went with a K24 hybrid). The 16g wheel is just a newer design and "slightly" bigger than the K24 wheel, the real benefit is the design of the compressor wheel vs the actual size difference. Its all about being more efficient.
The K16/24's are great tried and true turbo's thats for sure, they were in my car when I got it. These are just another option, tend to be much much cheaper than k16/24's as well. The previous owner of my car spent over $6k on them!!! (ouch). Don't think you can go wrong with either setup but personally I would go with the later.

I've never seen it for the 993tt however I will be taking the car to a dyno as soon as my clutch is broken in.
