80k miles too much if I want to make this a daily driver?

I would be driving 37 miles one way about 4 days a week. 90-95% highway.

80K is not too many miles for a nice 993 Targa, provided you do a PPI with compression/leakdown testing as well. That test will tell you much about if/when you need to rebuild the top end. Also Targas have special needs because of the top. That must be checked out. If the car is still on it's original suspension, it's shot, and overdue for a replacement as well.

Any Porsche is not cheap to maintain, so plan on spending some $$$ after purchase to sort it all out. But the #1 you MUST do before you buy any 993 is a comprehensive PPI plus compression/leakdown test at a knowledgable shop.

Good luck!

That's a great looking car & a good price, also it has really expensive wheels on it.

Get a PPI done, make sure all the top is working & not leaking, or making noise, & you will be fine. The car is very reliable, & gets around 24-28mpg on the freeway!!

My C4 is my DD, & it just clicked over 80kmi, & my drive is about 47mi one way.

My '95 has 93k on it, gets driven at least 30 miles a day, as well as road trips for autocrosses as far as 200 miles away.

looks like this car has been sorted out pretty well, lowered and upgraded suspension, 18" Ruf wheels.
Get a good PPI first.
These cars like hwy miles.

No problem if well maintained to date. You could drive it daily for years and enjoy it.

Hmmm, I found another one. It's a coupe which is my preference. I haven't test driven any of them yet though.

How much? Will you sell without wheels?
