factory wheel locks do NOT fit on my 993TT with iforged rims. I bought four new black lug nuts and shelved the wheel locks.

Dang I guess it depends on the wheels or maybe there are different locks? I had the factory locks on my iForged Seneka's, HRE C20's and HRE 540's.

The 993 uses a lug nut--the 996 a lug bolt. perhaps the locking lug bolts for the 996 fit.

I have HRE's on my car

I didn't like the factory lug design makes the wheels look cheap IMHO so i bought my locking lug nuts from Booth design. I believe I paid about $135 for a set of 5
http://www.boothedesign.com/boltsstudslugs.html

I got mine in in polished these are the best design locks I've seen, a lot of engineering has gone into these. I wanted all my lugs to match, you can't tell which is the locking lug when they are on the car. I also bought a set of lugs from Vertex (http://www.vertexauto.com/ListItems.aspx)
I paid $100 for a set of 20. I hope this helps
PS: wash thoes wheels

Mike,
what do you use to get the inside of the wheel so clean ? do you use metal polish aswell ? or just a wax?

I will take the wheels off one by one and give them a good cleaning and wax on the inside. I live in Florida so it's easy to keep them clean all year around.

NO!! They do NOT fit! We have Iforged on two of our Turbos and trust me they do not fit! HI can't speak about HRE's though...

Actually I think what doesn't fit is the key to the lock..so if you can have the key shaved then you could use the lock..

If you buy the HREs dont buy the 840s .... they leak and the valve stem is in the wheel, really hard to get to
