Hey Dan, I know people would try and stay away from the PSS9's when wanting to drop to GT2 height, are the PSS10's any different? or do you reccommend going with a different coilover setup?

I am a big fan and personally run the JIC Cross at GT2 ride height. I feel the JIC is a better coilover for those doing serious hard driving on the street or track. The PSS10 can be lowered without running into bump stop issues, but softer for a full daily driver.

Dan -

Does the monoball front / rear (vs' factory rubber) of the JIC Cross units affect the ride quality and/or compliance on the street?

I just installed pss10 this week...lowered 1 inch in back; 1 and 1/8 in front. Clears speed bumps, etc no grounding. Looks much more "right" in height. Set at 7 rear, 6 front; much less dive or rise in the front on hard braking or acceleration. Feels much more planted, also stiffer but also less harsh than stock. For me the "everyday street ride" is improved and the stability on acceleration, cornering improved very noticeably. These can be set 1 to 10 and 10 is the stiffest, so my setting are conservative. I love these and reccomend them for those not doing lots of DEs.

So the monoball makes for a harsher ride, then? Not so good for pure street car? Looks like the Bilsteins for me then.

I just installed JIC 8/12kg coilovers, it handles superb, no harshness what so ever even with the monoball pillow mount.

Just installed PSS10 with H&R sway bars. Lowered 1" in the rear and 1.5" in the front. Set the shocks as 7r and 8r. Bars are set at middle position front and inner position (full stiff in the rear). Much better than stock as a daily driver on the street. It got rid of all the understeer. If i was going to track the car I would go with the JIC cross with the solid heim joint rear control arms and adjustable toe link. Vivid has the right set up for JIC.

the front camber plates and rear pillowball mounts are aluminum out of 7075 grade i believe. they give the car a much more responsive handling characteristic over the stock rubber strut tops. Harsh ride.... I dont think you will notice that small aspect. Either way, both are great systems and one is dedicated more for aggressive street and track performance.

both systems still instock PM me or call to order.
