Your good to go, get the car re aligned and you wont look back. I can honestly say I would never go back to AWD with the the 996 TT.

so its been several months with RWD
do i regret it ?
absolutely not ..

as far as LSD
that was on my list of things to do next.. but to be honest... i havent had any serious issues with the car as is

i think a better set of tires (think cup tires), an lsd is useless on the street

instead im just gonna use that money to get my engine rebuilt sooner

RWD is noticable on the car in any condition mostly due to less front end push and crisper turn in.

on the street I really think it would be hard to get around a corner hard and fast enough to need a LSD.

RWD and no LSD at the track with this car would not be acceptable if you are any level of accomplished driver on a race track.

so street guys dont need a LSD and you will still see benefits, track guys to handle properly need the LSD.

IMO,
With K24 set up, RWD was fun. With higher HP, you will need to do the whole front end suspension like a GT2, spindles, etc. Just coil overs are not enough. These cars were made for AWD mode due to a reason. I took out the front diff for a while, it was fun but not safe. If you have mods more than 600whp, it will become an issue. Only my opinion due to drag tracking and street abuse.
