2)Bought 8/07

3) 2002 X50 with 16,000 miles, sports seats, lots of options, an Upsolute flash at purchase. Now have about an additional $25,000-$30,000 in mods.

4) Asking price was $72,500. I don't haggle & I sure as heck would not think of selling it.

5) Turbo had 8 months of some extended warranty left--did not get to use it as the car was in perfect condition and needed no warranty work done.

...Had extensive interior carbon kit (which hasn't peeled or delaminated) and factory Aero kit, clear Dupont bra
...Had 18K miles on it and came with a CPO warranty that expired Aug 08.
...MSRP was $140K

I am also in the market for a 2004 996 TT cab / yellow, tip . with some mods. Since I have the 360, I am not in a position to add another car TODAY.

But I will wait for a couple of months. I heard from a buddy of mine that is a car dealer that he was at the highline auction 01.14.09 and the following was sold. Remember this is a AUCTION number.
= 02 / 996 TT coupe / Black, Black, Tip, 19" Champion 5 star wheels, lowered, 46k miles for $35.8k

Yes I am quite happy with the New Year's present! I found the car on Autotrader and it was also on eBay. It was at a Mercedes (sp) dealer in Houston. I drove her home on New Years Day!

Now, just need some nice days to take her out and open her up!

I just realized you live in the Ville, are you from there?

I lived there for 11yrs, went to UL for my undergrad and MBA. I just moved to Cinci 6 mo ago for a job.

Once I get my 996, we'll have to have a tri-state meet in Lou....
