How much did you pay for your used 996TT?

I saw/stole this format from M3forums, and i think it is very helpful for future 996TT owners, so if you don't mind, please share!

1) How much did you pay for your used 996TT?
2) When did you buy it?
3) Year and mileage?
4) What was the original price, and how much did you bargain down?
5) Did it come with the warranty, or did you buy one, or neither?

Thanks, TK

All in jest. However in all seriousness prices are plummeting on these cars. This thread will remind people just how much money they have lost on these cars. So for future owners it is great. For current owners, such as myself, it might make you a little queasy. And I noticed from your signature which camp you are in.. :-) Now is a great time to buy..

asking price was 59000 plus tax
i got the car for 58500 (i hate bargaining) plus tax
i dumped around 15-20k on the car in a year
i had no warranty when i bought it
and i probably dumped 15k on it ... (wheels tires, new clutch etc etc)

if someone told me to wait a year and save $20 grand, i would say no thanks...
the car has lived up to every expectation (except handlng) ive had

That's understandable, I remember when Supra/RX-7 prices went through the roof (fast&furious ), yet 3000GT resale kept going down. Finally, they just became big, hard-to-work on DSMs.

I've always loved turbo AWD's, and have always wanted a 911, but somehow always found a reason not to buy one. Hopefully, that will change very soon.

Steve,

providing you can afford it, why not, noone can guarantee us we will be around a year from now.

All,

thanks for sharing, let's keep it going for the noobs wanting to get into a P-car.

Cheers, TK

The 993TT,996TT,997TT is the best car on the road. Any porsche Turbo. Until you have owned and really driven one (at 190mph or more) you really just dont know. When you feel the aerodynamics working and the suspention working the push of the turbos your in heaven. So as far of the value I think mine is priceless.
