OZ Ultraleggera wheels

Hi, I'm in Europe and reading in this forum since some time now. I drive a '03 996 GT2 and due to the informations I got in this great forum I buyed some nice parts.
Now I have a Europipe stg1 exhaust, european upgraded K24/26 and the IPD plenum. I'm going to dyno the car soon to see what the IPD is doing. As soon as possible I will post the charts...
Now I would like to buy new wheels and I see that here there are lots of opinions about the "right" design and manufacturer.
Personally I prefer wheels with no or little lip (even if I had cargraphic racing on my old 993 TurboS) so I was looking for the monoblock HRE or the RS171 from Champion.
Yesterday I found in the german forum pictures of the OZ Ultraleggera on a 997 (posted) and I think they look good too. Here in Europe the homologation is pretty important and OZ has one, HRE and Champion didn't, so it could be an issue.
Apart from the design I'm absolutely unsure about the size is should buy. The GT2 has on stock 18", 8.5 and 12 width with 40 and 45mm offset.
Noone is offering something like this, just Champion in 18" RG5 is similar (with 45mm in front). The HRE are always 11" in the rear and the offsets are wrong f/r.
Practically all of them have 53mm offset in front (means I should install spacers).
So, I'm very confused... nevertheless I think the OZ looks good and the price is good too (they offer 8.5x19et53 and 12x19et51or11x19et40).
Is here someone with a GT2 having similar "issues" like me? What have you installed? Is the ride with 19" much stiffer?

Thank you and sorry for the long post.

Wheels

Boldis,

Give Benjamin a call at Wheels Boutique (sponsor) HRE & some of the others can build a wheel specific to your car ie widths & offset.
It will take 3-4weeks to build, but it sounds like the right wheel is what
you are looking for. GL with your hunt!

Thank you Silvershark, I was already in contact directly with HRE (Alan and John) asking for options. The problem is that I would like a Monoblock wheel and not a 3part. So width and offset are set. Alan told me that they are thinking about offering 11.5 or 12inch in the rear, but not ready yet. So I found this OZ with 12".
What are you driving? 18"or 19"?

I've got the OZs (superleggera)...love them. Look is nice, no reverse lip problems. No issues running 19's, but I do not track the car.

Cargraphic sell Champion wheels in Europe. You can find them in their online catalog.
You can confirm with them if they meet TUV or not. Those OZ HLT wheels are very pretty!

Thank you Khalid, I know that Cargraphic is selling Champion wheels here. I wrote them and they told me they sell only the RG5 with homologation here. Nothing for the RS171.
And as said I would like wheels with no or only little lip....

The OZ is a great inexpensive wheel. I had them on one of my audi's.

Their strong and very light weight.
