Did you ever figure out a solution? I'm installing a GT2 decklid myself and appreciate any help. Thanks!

Not yet but I will, I am particularly miffed after wadging out all that money that it doesn't work and I even stood in front of the parts guy looking at the GT2 wing diagram when I ordered it and it doesn't have the leads for the spoiler hydraulics

I would like to think/dream that there is a simpler solution by cross wiring the switch in the instrument console/dash

Big wing conversion question (GT2 decklid upgraders, this is for you guys!)

This one seems to work for some at $0 (read what´s posted by Iceyankee)

The solution is to just use the OEM 996TT harness and just disconnect the micro-switches (or cut the cables if you don't want to have the micro-switches in the lid, solder 2 of them together and isolate two of them so they won't make a connection).

Just don't touch the wing-up button (preferably disconnect it).

The dealer turns of the spoiler function for the aerokit (fixed wing) you will not get the error code.

Is there any end-user tool to do this like the Vag-Com for the VWs?

This is also correct, cost for it?

This coding can also be done with Durametric Pro (correct me if I am wrong), and again you can use the same OEM harness.

The result of all methods are the same, no need for a harness other than the OEM one.
