I would think that the extra 90-100rwhp would give the ZR1 a distinct edge from a roll.
What speeds were used for the roll runs?
Keep in mind that the ZR1 also weighs approx 200 lbs more than a Z06. That blower kit and the larger wheels/tires add weight. Z06 has 18/19, ZR1 has 19/20.
A Z06 with intake, exhaust, tune is pushing 485-490 rwhp. That is about 550 crank HP.

Forgot to mention that a buddy owns that particular ZR1 in the video. He had it at our local hang-out last Sat. It looks awesome in Cyber-gray with the blue accents.
Hopefully I'll be able to convince him to get a couple runs with me on video.

True, true, forgot about the weight difference and mods.

Great dicussions guys. But I think at higher speeds ZR1 will pull away from Z06 stock. High HP shows more at higher gears. Crazy though that bone stock Z06 has better times at 1/4. After I'm done also, I have one race set with a ZR1 also

It will absolutely pull away from a stock Z06 at higher speeds. Especially considering its close-ratio 5th and 6th gears. But a bolt-on Z06 will still give it a heck of a run up to 140 mph.
Good question Walnut. I think the ZR1 and 996tt weigh about the same. I don't know which one has a lower cd nor do I know which has better gearing. I do believe that both are producing around 650 crank hp and that an awd Porsche may have an advantage out of the hole. It seems that the 18gs have been trapping a few mph faster but then that's the first and only ZR1 I've seen run so far.
