Interesting that Ranger is faster in the C6Z on DR's though. Not the trap speed, but the E:T. I think he runs 10:80's on DR's in the Z06.

All the good times are at MIR. I wish we all could run at that track.
I think Jamie Furman ran his Z06 at 10.83 on drag radials - of course at MIR. He also has times there for his GT2 - ACR Viper & FGT at MIR. Which should give us a good comparison of those cars on the same track - just not the same day.

Yep...since stock Z06's with only 505 HP have already done 10's, it's not surprising that a ZR1 with 130 more HP does 10's as well. What surprises me the most though is how close the two cars are, considering the huge HP delta. A buddy with just a intake, exhaust and tune on his Z06 was a dead-nuts tie against a stock ZR1 from a roll during 3 different races.
For comparison, below are the record times for stock Z06s:
Bone stock on the stock runflats:
1----10.981 @ 128.90--1.77---jamie furman
2----11.138 @ 127.20--1.76---Ranger
Bone stock but with drag radials: 1--10.831 @ 130.05--1.70---jamie furman 2--10.856 @ 129.50--1.67---Ranger 3--10.912 @ 126.32--1.62---Dr.Ron

Now that IS interesting.
I would think that the extra 90-100rwhp would give the ZR1 a distinct edge from a roll.

No shocker here. It was just a matter of time until we saw a ZR1 actually get driven hard. Seems too many wax-n-shine guys bought them, not enough drivers
