Look great guys, wish you well. I am real interested in your results running 8500. My finances, or lack thereof, preclude me from running at those rpms so 8K is all I got...

Awesome,
You guys are really starting to knock those things out...Betim really knows his ____.
How's your car running Thomas? Itching for that exhaust I spoke to Betim about a while back. I still am running a regular Cargraphic system...he has been so busy. I will try to come out and see you guys soon.
I think this is the year of Monster 996tt's. Holy samoly, what a build spec. And Art's car will be faster?
Great job guys.

Thanks for the kind words KPG. I've been trying to keep up with your progress through your threads, but they've gotten so lengthy that i've been having trouble keeping up. Looks like you have quite a strong running car; Best of luck! I'll keep you updated with the progression of this project.

Hey Sam, good to see you. How are you?
My turbo was running perfect, until someone rear-ended me. :/ My BBI exhaust/rear bumper took most of the impact.
Come check us out on day Sam.
I'm still unsure if how i will have my new exhaust made; With or without cats... It's a love/hate thing with a catless system:

Art's car will be a monster with GTxxx's, This build will be a monster with GT30's that revvs high, with Porsche Motorsport gearing.
I'm very interested at the real world results we find with both setups.

I agree with Thomas although the heads that I will be getting will flow a lot more than the GT3 heads Again the trick is area under the curve. You can lower the RPM and have a better work load

who did the tranny and what gearing did you go with (1st and 2nd)?
Brian Copans did the tranny. I cannot remember what the exact gearing specs are, but i do know we went with a very tall 1st gear. The car is able to hit 60mph in 1st gear now. I'll go through the paperwork and figure out the specs of the gearing for you Marty. Stay Tuned

This one was built with alot of bells and whistles. The cost of this tranny was 15k-20k
A build with the basics+regearing would be around 10k. There's really tons of options when it comes to upgrading the gearbox.

There work is an art form. I have seen there work first hand and the quality is phenomenal.
I did meet up with a grey GTR that had a modified exhaust system from BBI that looked incredible. I meet him at C&C a few months ago. We made one run and started from first gear around 10MPH. When I hit 124MPH (the end of fourth gear) he was two car lengths in the rear. He told me he had a.

The jury is still out on that question Thomas. Progress is very very slow. Sounds like you have been a busy chap this last little while. I hope things are looking up for you though, you deserve that my friend!
I will keep u posted on the progress
Cheers Bud,
Ben
Hey Ben,
Just saw your post; Sorry to hear things are moving along so slow. I know your car has been down for awhile now. Thanks for the kind words, My car should hopefully be done before July. Although to be honest, i'm getting the modding bug again which is going to delay things
