Is the GT2 more of a widowmaker than a RWD Turbo?

Just wanted to get your guy's opinion on the notorious nickname of the GT2.
I have a 02 TT with 600 HP, rear wheel drive conversion, LSD, JIC cross suspensions, Gt2 wheels, OEM brakes with orange pagid for the track. I consider to have a pretty good set-up and do pretty well on the track but I feel that the GT2 with its lighter weight, better brakes, better suspensions would be still a safer car.
What do you guys think?

Do you have PSM? The one single most important factor that can save irresponsible drivers compared to a car without.

Have PSM but as most everybody does I presume, I turn it off when on track since the PSM would actually do screwy stuff when tracking and making it more dangerous to my opinion.

That just proves you are a slow learner! Always seems like a good idea at the time!

You can always improve the 996tt to have a better edge. I would keep the 996tt and upgrade unless you can enough cash to just buy another GT2. GL

given that you have a LSD, a top suspension setup, and 600hp, I would say that your car is a bit more of a widowmaker assuming you switch PSM off.

How do you switch off the PSM.. With just the PSM button deactivated the PSM still operates in the background just givin you a bit more slack!
If this is the case your car is not much of a Widowmaker compared to the GT2!

What do you guys think?
.

your car should be as safe and as fast as a stock GT2. your suspension setup is probably better. and your brakes are an easy upgrade. theonly thing you give up is some weight which can be easily remedied.
have you driven a GT2??? and think it is better than your car? I would be suprised, I would imagine if you do you will be disappointed.

unless you are going wheel to wheel racing stick with your car it is fine and is at the same "safety" level of a GT2

this is all you have left to do...................
