I think the bottom line is if you want a great motor build and have a fat wallet, then EVOMS is a good choice.
However they are definately not the people for Methanol.
Considering Scott and Mark have both said they spent 80K+ on their engine builds,Rob must be there as well. Marty said he was over 30K for an 18G system. Why do you always say EVOMS is so expensive? Heck, your 10K fuel system hardly struck me as a bargain, but then again the twin pump setup I had installed was significantly less than yours by a long measure. The fact is nothing is cheap at this level ,with ANY tuner.

I certainly never would suggest that Proto Todd was cheap, that is for sure (for the record my fuel system, which EVOMS copied from Proto, was 7K). Of course nothing could rival the time and expense you have gone through for your car, that is for sure
My point was that EVOMS is not tuning for methanol. The main guy for that right now is Tony. I have not spoken w/ Todd (Proto) about methanol although I am curious about his attitude about a meth set up. I am waiting to see some other guys run it for a while.

Doc, I think you are misinformed about a few things. You are correct about my build, the time was too long and I cannot get that back, but the expense was much cheaper than what you think.I still could buy a few of your fuel systems before I approach Mark and Scotts prices. As for copying fuel systems, correct me if I am wrong but don't you have two pumps outside of your tank in the tunnel with holes drilled in the bottom of your tank? My system is two intank pumps with a custom CNCed bracket that fits in tank under all factory trim that connects to the factory tank cap. I could be wrong but I thought yours hang in the tunnel... I am confident you will correct me if I am wrong..lol

Also FWIW I plan on installing and having Tony tune it to use it when I am on my race gas tune to lower the IATs. That's the real purpose of the system is to lower the IATs and not to act as more fuel, but it can be used to do that also. Some tuners do not like the systems because it can cause problems if not monitored (exactly what KPG said... Tank empty ... Boost not lowered ... KABOOM!). The system Tony uses is VERY helpful and has many features to warn you if the tank is getting low, etc. In fact I think Tony has it setup where if the tank is empty the Aquamist system will trigger the DME to run a lower amount of boost. I could have swore I read that somewhere.
I should have mine installed and ready for use by the Mile in October.
As far as money spent though I have you all beat on the cheapest build... But then again I'm just some stupid kid who doesn't know anything But then again I'm not afraid to push things to their limits... Like Eminem says.. "It's kinda like pouring Draino down a live Volcano... You never know what will happen next... It may blow..." LOL!

With the Aquamist kit, there is a float switch in the tank that, when fluid level is down to that level, reduces the boost back to wastegate, whatever that is on your car. There is also a flow switch, inline with the solenoid, that if it doesn't see fluid flow, again, back to wastegate. The existance of these safety's are all assumed you have it connected correctly to the ECU.

Dennis, I don't want to sound ungrateful and all but couldn't you do a song for me based on the recently deceased King of Pop. Can I suggest " Beat It "?
Btw, what time is bedtime at Jacko's house?......when the big hand touches the little hand!
