I'm convinced that Vince is having tranny issues. There has to be an explaination for his numbers so far. With all the hype of these A28's, He should be quicker than me, no?

His car made 535 awhp mustang dyno at 1.4 bar with meth injection. Now a 6 speed car is making significantly more power and tq.

His tranny is solid as far as i can tell. I am sure he will post his experience. I have no clue how you are able to run 132 traps and high 6 60-130 times.
There isnt much of a driver error in a tiptronic car...just baffles me. I know his car is running super strong...maybe not strong enough to beat you?..his dyno #'s are also much stronger than yours.

I know some tuners say the k24/18g is laggy on a tiptronic.. blackhorseturbo is the exception... must be that softronic tune..

I will be very surprised if someone can trap higher than 132 with the new A28 turbos. I have done endless number of runs with Vince’s tiptronic car equipped with this setup, its dead even high end, mid range as low as 40 mph start…you name it. Yes he will destroy me if I started from dead stop…I cannot shift from 1 to 2nd gear as fast as a Tiptronic.
Yes with a 6 speed car you will have lesser driveline loss will be faster. Can’t wait to see some real 6 speed numbers.
I'm trying to get to the dyno soon and do a 1/4 mile with my 6spd setup.

For the knowledge base for those of you that don't know, Softronic was written by big dog Todd K.
I thought softronic was written by it's owner, nothing to do with Todd K??? or are you talking about modified programming?

Todd Knighton (Protomotive) has helped lots of tuners in lots of ways.
I believe he did have some involvement with Softronic, but Scott does
alot of stuff himself I believe.
There is nothing special about tuning these cars..bosch motronic has been around for a while now. I think all tuners do good job, some with custom tuning provide more benefit than others. EPL is one of them.

so is the softronic system similar or based off of TK's tuning?

Yup, the man that's helped build some of the baddest 996's out there. I know his GT2 went some crazy mph, and I'm interested in seeing what you all have been working on before I spend more money on something else.
Here is a close up...

People have said that on here and other places a few times. I think this would be a good opportunity for Scott and TK to clarify if they wish?
