Thanks. Yeah it's gonna be fun to keep making changes and improving the time until I get it to where I am happy with it. There really is a lot more technique to this than many give credit for, and I have one of these newer turbo setups with crazy low end torque, so what works best for a 24/18 car may not work best for an alpha 28. I plan on finding out!

I have the Tial GT28 Alpha with Protomotive 1.2bar pumptune. I ran 60-130 in 7.5sec in my first and only try ever. I will have to try again becuse I can`t stop wondering if it`s possible to go under 7sec.

Not a bad time at all! A few questions...

Do you have the newer alpha turbos from Tial? or the ones that have been around for a few years?

What octane is your pump gas?

What other supporting mods do you have?

6speed tranny I assume?

I was surprised over the 7.5sec as it was my first try. That`s why I`m wondering how much fast it would be with a good driver. Now I have been reading here and I`m starting to understand how I could go faster.

It`s the Tial GT28/K16 hybrids. The mods are: 5bar fpr, DVīs with F-hoose, exhaust with 200cell cats and watercooling for the turbos.

The gas is 98oct.

Yes, it`s a 6speed manual.

interesting K16 hybrids. I wonder how they compare to the 16g and k16/24 hybrids.

Look at the 16g guys and I'd say you should be able to run around their times, I would guess. probably won't gain to much more than what you got.

Workin on it man.... went to the same places last night the pbox worked last time and no dice. I think the common low fog around here is the culprit.

The injector size has increased and it drivability at low speeds is better now. Had stock injectors before with the GIAC flash and the car would act funny at low speeds sometimes/off idle. Like this weird "bucking" thing sometimes.... not no more.

I just think some tuners do a more complete job at tuning and dialing in the tables at all points of the spectrum. All tunes are not created equally apparently.

98 octane? Well that's a ton of power over our 91/93 octane tunes here, assuming it is tuned specifically for those by Proto.

Either way, that's a good time. Now go improve it.

The gt28/k16 is what EVOMS was (is?) running in their GT640/700 kits for years I am pretty sure. Not certain what changes were made to their newer GT660/700 kits if any.
