boca996tt will become famous soon enough
Any new 60 - 130 mph times? Whats the reason for keeping it at 1.0 bar?

The thing really spools instantly off idle and is a ripper in 1st and 2nd. I am peaking/holding 1.0 bar for now. The 3rd and 4th gears WOT pull pretty strong too, but I imagine once we do 1.2-1.3 bar it will really continue to pull in those gears.

Very happy so far and I can appreciate Tony easing me into the higher boost and making small adjustments to the files, but I am such an impatient SOB it is very hard ti wait!
1.8 bar would rock your world

The Tial turbo's we have been using are not gt28's. K24/18gs will greatly out perform gt28s.

The Tial A28's we are using are significantly larger then both 18g's and gt28's.

I prefer the A28's in every aspect over k24/18g's.

Just uploaded flash #5 today and got a little driving time. Hits 1.0 to 1.2 bar depending on gear. Need to test it more this weekend and may try to do a 60-130. But honestly, I think this thing shines at lower speeds and would love to take on a 24/18g car from say 30-100 or 40-100.... but that's just a guess since I have never ridden/driven a 24/18g car. I've only experienced several GT28 cars.....

Hope to have some numbers soon guys.... and dyno #s too. Gotta have Tony happy with how the car is running and boosting first though. I imagine we will datalog here soon as well.

And yes 1.8 bar would be insane. Maybe later....

It will be very interesting to see your car run a k24/18g 6 speed car. I am surprised there is no one local to you who has a 18g setup to compare. I know the results of comparing to a tiptronic Tial gt28 car....but 6 speed car would be different.

Paulie, Mike Bailey ran a 6.98 on his A28's while you were playing your banjo. That puts him just behind me, but just in front of YOUR 7.2.

I believe those are not the same alpha 28s as I have..... maybe Tialsport can confirm?

Don't worry Todd I will run a better time than yours when I have the same weather as you did when you ran a 6.9.The 7.2 was on pump.

This makes good sense.
Alot of confusion of people calling all manner of hybrids "GT28s"
Like the old EVOMS GT700 turbo (which was a K24 hot side, not
water cooled, etc. etc)
