BBI Plasma Direct Coil Packs for Porsche Application - New Product Release, Must Read
BBI sought to improve a product that hasn’t been explored in the past. We noticed after countless hours of data logging; cars from mild upgrades to heavily modified cars were running into a similar problem. The problem was the spark was being blown out causing mild misfiring. In the past, closing the spark plug gap would be used to band-aid this problem. We’ve come up with a permanent solution to this prevalent problem. Plasma Direct coil packs.

Our Plasma Direct coil packs have a high power amplifier built in to them. This technology allows for a 400% increase in spark energy over stock coils, it also generates an ultra fast multi spark discharge of 10 sparks along the whole RPM band. The spark amperage is increased by 100%, allowing the spark to reach many more molecules and therefore accelerate the ignition and combustion process. This is extremely important in turbo applications but also improves the performance of normally aspirated engines. Improvements in drivability, reduction in fuel consumption, and smoother idle have also been recorded. Our coil packs will increase horsepower and torque throughout the rpm range over factory coil packs. We’ve also recorded improved spool times on turbo applications. These coil packs will also extend the life of the spark plugs.

Our coil packs are fully OBD II compliant. Direct bolt-on component, no splicing or cutting into stock wiring, simply replace the stock coils with ours. Direct factory replacement; far superior construction materials versus stock.

We are currently running specials on the first couple of sets; PM for details.

Yes indeed. This area has been overlooked by most. I didn't go this route but with a CDI system.

Great write up and info Thomas. Too bad I knew all the info on this long ago when it went in the TT car. Great performance increase as well as R&D on it. Congrats!!! I agree with Alex, it should be a hot seller.
