Sorry for dropping out of the loop for the last week or so. As of yet Autobahn has not responded back to me about what is or was actually wrong with my car. For all I know it could be fixed and waiting for me, they have been crazy busy and I had my hopefully last back surgery (I have more pics of that than I do of my car ).
This is the last week of school for my wife and then she will be working on getting me into hyperbaric oxygen therapy at a clinic in New Orleans, LA that has been doing this kind of therapy for many years for TBI patients. According to the head mechanic, the car has actually been modified AND tracked in the past, but to what extent is still a mystery.
I have been in contact with Hans at RUF and he has become very helpful and a great source of information (almost as much as this forum and the people on it) he is in the process of doing what he can to fix "the exhaust" that helped me discover the top quality people this forum has for members. Until I get the car fixed and over to him he can't tell me exactly what has been done to the car. By estimates from him as well as the mechanic at the dealership whoever had this car put @ $15-20k into the car in upgrades. This car could already have all the upgrades done to it that I have been quizzing JOETWINT, the guys at EVOMS and VIVID racing about. If we could just get this little devil fixed and running properly it could be as the Army would say "all it can be", for me at least.
Sorry about the length of this, I just wanted to drop everyone who has helped me and been supportive of me a line and let them know what was and is going on.
I am contemplating making a run to DFW by myself when my car is fixed, to pick it up, because my wife doesn't like it when I put my foot through the front bumper, from the inside, she says it "scares" her and she screams at me. (something about the law of averages and this whole too many "brushes with death" thing) it is just too addictive when the car forces me back in the seat and most of the other sports cars on the road try to read my plates on the way by. OK enough talking crap, until it is fixed I need to keep my mouth shut.
I will keep you all informed and when I go to pick it up maybe there is a chance of getting together with other "6 speeders" in the DFW area? Anyone who is interested in doing this let me know, PM me for my contact number. Again, thanks to everyone and I will keep you all informed.
