996tt

I wonder what 1000+ hp setups available for a 6spd 996TT?

What are my best options? Reliability is important. I would not want to roll 1-2 times and then put the car to get it fixed.

I would like to make a car that goes from 0 to 300 around 16-17 seconds without NOS. Any examples except the EVOMS Texas mile record car?

What kind of budget should I have for the motor, transmission and drivetrain modifications?

cheers,

Best option is to find one already done with all the bugs and multiple different setups done You'll have to overpay but will still be less than doing it yourself.

the build would cost you about 100+k ,fully built motor with all the goods. i would contact protomotive or evoms . theyw ill be able to awnser any of your questions best. as for beeing reliable LOL .... with 1000 hp .... well you get that point as for drivetrain.... if you drive normal it will hold up decently , when you start launching things WILL break .

cheers,

if you roll 1-2 times doing 300 paying for the car repairs will be the least of your problems...you'll probably be dead or incredbily messed up

you should talk to proto if you are serious about this, or find a tuner in france assuming thats where you are located full time

Easy $100k plus. It would be easier to buy a car that's already done. Everything is for sale at the right price. PM Joetwint and see what it would take to sell his.

you might want to look into the ramifications of importing a car into france from the US, tax, emissions etc, you might be better off finding a french tuner

Buy a Bugatti Veyron. It's reliable and meets your insane need for horsepower - Also it is a VW, as is Porsche.

Seriously 100k wouldn't cut it when you factor in suspension, driveline(diff+clutch+axles+ 2 sets of wheels and 3sets of tires, drag +street,),GT3 seats, harnesses, cage, brakes, boost controller, etc. It gets up there real quick but it sure does make a awesome street car. Then factor in the time it will take to build one(probably a year).
