This is my 55th lap at Nürburgring Nordschleife, definitly no attempt to drive a fast lap, but still a BTG around 8:29.
I have added the names of the bends of the track as I know them.
I'm open for suggestions regarding this..
The sound you hear is a bad "wheel bearing" that desperately needs to be changed.
The car is my track modifed 996 Turbo -01.
Sorry for hijacking for a few lines: Due to so many focusing here on bling bling wheels or street racing I have not posted for long time here...But got a peak this site once in a while (of course...might get some good info too)
And now I have to answer as well:
What are you laughing about STEVO? I don't remember what was the reason last time...
This year I did only one trip to Nordschleife, had some laps in the Tourist traffic and the best lap (BTG obviously) was 7.45.
The optimum lap of different sectors with RaceChrono & 5Hz GPS was 7.33.x...A clean lap on a private day would be excellent next year
I don't take any vids because it is not allowed during public driving. But I can send you the lap data in .vbo or .csv or almost any kind of format.
So guys, GT Porsches are the way to go for track and they are enjoyable etc etc...but a modded Turbo is fast too
By the way McBurn good set of mods in your car! Any idea about the topspeed (GPS) in Schwedenkreuz before slowing down? Mine is 266km/h...A HANS device and full cage could be the next mods...

Great lap Per, I really would like to take my turbo on a trip to NR some day. To day I only got one lap at the extreem fast time of 13:28.1 in my Citroën Berlingo
Many thanks for your responses to my post!

LMFAO... poor Walter Rohl the "lord of the Ring" is only 1 second quicker than you
He is saying BTG, not a complete lap (depending on the car, you should add 20-25 secs to get a feel about the full lap time) and the sum of best section times over several laps which is not the same as one lap.

Nice clean lines, safe driving, I like it! :-) Looks like the car is setup very well too. Could comment on a few minor points but by the looks of it, I bet you know them already. As you know, lap times come down automatically at the Ring as the line and braking improves.
