Yes, it is true some stock blocks are now making over 700 whp w/ perfect fuel/boost/etc....but I for one would not run that way all the time.

And if I ran GT35's and spent for a motor build, my goal would be 1000, not 800.

A1000 would be stretching it considering Markski only made ~950-960rwhp with heads/cams/GT35Rs, etc.

I'm hoping for 900-950rwhp with a built motor w/ goodies with my 5857's.

Cams are needed to get an engine capable of the 8K plus RPMs necessary to maximize 35's.

Depending on your overall weight, you are going to need at least 1000hp to pull on a decent rider and a stock Hayabusa.

I have a turbo that can do the job...

You guys with the Alpha 3076's, what RPM is your peak TQ? Does anyone have a dyno plot so we can see how it carries out?

Mark, where is the peak TQ of your magic turbos? Dyno plot?

Sure this is Bobby's car... Cory made 750 rwTQ at 1.2 bar before he turned down the TQ via the greddy...... 1.4 bar

To maximize GT35's you have to add displacement of at least 4.0L along with all the other goodies.

Chad is correct, although cars like Rob's, Joe's, Mark's, etc. make killer HP they are not at that point of maxing out those turbos. 2x GT35R's are good for 1250-1300crank HP if not more than that (if I remember correctly).

Mike, here is my dyno plot....Tom will have a much nicer one Tq is available quickly and not peaky. Lot of power under the curve. You can see at the bottom AVG tq across the entire run was over 500ft lbs.... not bad for an avg

Powell,

The GT35R's are good for 600 ponies per turbo or 1200 hp without over boosting them.

That is if you have the head flow/displacement to match. The trouble with using these turbo's with less than 4.0L motor's is your torque will not begin to shine. Mount them onto 4.4/4.5L and you can utilize everything they have to offer.
