Exactly.

Dyno's are tuning tools. If doesn't matter if the baseline reads 100 or 1000. We should all be looking at % gains.

Using the same car on the same dyno is really the only way to get a true compare of performance and this was done here!

Like I said...its not a special dyno. We have seen dyno's rumored to read low read higher than our dyno.

A stock EVO VIII make 230-240 whp on our dyno which is right in line with just about every other dynojet out there....even a little on the low side

A stock BMW 335 makes about 240-250 whp stock on our dyno...again, on the low side.

The 996 is no different...it made what it made.

Nice to see a local tuner I too am interested to see how much does that upgrade run on a stock car.

I'm in love with your Cross Ti exhaust, but that is a wish-list item of the highest order for me. Did you guys take some time to weigh the exhaust assembly before installing it?

I know some of you were asking about the spool characteristics of these turbos vs. stock K16s. We were able to get a stock K16 car on our dyno for comparison. The results were awesome. It turns out that the AMS Billet K16s spool THE SAME as stock K16s!!! Here is a dyno sheet for your viewing pleasure.

That doesn't make much sense... I am also interested in the trap speeds.

Cheers,

Allen,

If you haven't seen the thread, the car went 133.3mph in the 1/4. Check out this thread:

AMS Billet K16's go 133.3mph at the strip

FWIW, I've noticed more and more Mustang dynos popping up that dyno higher than dynojets.

They spool a little bit quicker because of the exhaust on that graph. I'll try to get a graph with the Billet K16s utilizing the stock exhaust.

Oh, gotcha... this is the one I was checking out and was PMed about, didn't put two and two together.

Interesting about the dynos still.

Trap speed looks to be on the number.

Cheers,
Allen
