That was nasty by both drivers, the only diff was that the Porsche didn't crash.

Ugly. Anyone remember Bergmeister at Sebring last year? Also banging fenders. He's awesome fast and in this clip anyone would be veeery upset about the "tap" (blow) to the rear in that final hairpin but til that point they were strictly racing, dicing and blocking professionally and along the rules, using the different strenghts of the cars.

Ends sadly in this case, when the Vette is that far up alongside Bergmeister has got to let it go, but doesn't... Both drivers are on racing probation for the start of ALMS 2010, any more offense and they're banned. Don't learn from this, ugly like nothing else, MAYBE MAYBE ok in a friendly rental karting race with nothing at stake more than messing around with good friends.

Was like this in Touring Car racing for a long time until there were some serious accidents and rules got stricter, sad to see in GT racing that they didn't even change the result of the race, it's not a racing incident just foul play.

Up til that, woooonderful to see that Porsche driven like that around the track, beautiful car, moves amazingly nice around that track.

GT3 blocked. Vette bumped. Is this Nascar? Bad racing, not professional at all.

The Vette had been bumping him for a number of lamps. This was not the first time. It was a very good race. Unfortunately it ended poorly for both drivers.

Change the result to what?

We were pitted in between Flying Lizard and Corvette during the ALMS race.

We were punted by the Corvette during the race.. Frustrating after starting last in the GTC class and going passing all the cars in our class. Then leading by a lap and half and getting hit on a restart into turn 1.

You never want to see anyone crash a car or see a driver get hurt, but Jan (Corvette) was driving very aggressively during the race... Jorg ( Porsche) did an excellent job during the race and drove very clean.

Had the corvette not used several other cars as brakes including our GT3 and played bumper cars thourghout the race perhaps the outcome of the crash might have been different.

Congrats to Jorg for a well driven race and congrats to Flying Lizard for winning the race as well as the manufactures Championship for Porsche. Well deserved.!!!

That's about the most polite way I have ever heard someone say "F U Jan and Corvette"

That Porsche was hauling! It looked amazing going through the corkscrew, but that was some dirty stuff down the straight.
