VERY impressive -I would imagine this car would easily be over 600 SAE with intercoolers and an intake. Thats an incredibly usable powerband with power all the way out to 7k -a testimate to EPL's tuning and the combo itself. I expected the K16 hotside to choke it more than that.

Please clarify one thing: you say C6 Z06 above the comparison chart and then C5 Z06 on the chart -based on the numbers, I'm assuming thats a C5 Z06?

My apologies, I meant C5 Z06.

I just looked at some of my G2X logs form today and with two of us in the car (460lbs) it pulls 1.01 g's in 2nd gear! Clocked 60-110mph in 4.95 seconds also with the two of us.

Impressive results for K16s or otherwise! Maybe people (like myself) will stop selling them for $200 now when they pull them off.

First off, congratulations to you for these great initial results with your new billet K16s. Would I be correct in assuming that the upgrade cost for sending in K16s to have them upgraded to these specs would be considerably less than to go to a K24/18 based setup? I must admit I don't know an awful lot about this stuff but am assuming that since yours are K16 based that it's a true upgrade for stock K16 turbos like mine.

Assuming it's not public information already, could you let me know what the charge is for this upgrade service? I'm also quite curious if the powerband changes much on the low end since your dyno graph looks terrific, with no low range penalties, but we all know that dyno graphs don't often have time as a measurable field so I've always learned to be leery of RPM based comparisons. I'd be looking to maintain the quick response that I enjoy out of my K16s but gain some additional midrange and top end...and your product seems to have that 'have your cake and eat it too' appeal to it. Thanks for taking any time to answer my questions by the way, and best wishes to you and your shop at the Texas Mile.

The upgrade is based entirely on the K16 platform, which means you will either have to send in a stock set, or pay the core charge.

As far a pricing goes, we don't have anything solidified yet, but we will have pricing soon.

Unfortunately, we haven't had a stock K16 car on the dyno, so I cant tell you if it spools later then stock, but I can tell you that lag is almost non existent making 1 bar of boost at 3100rpm, 1.2 bar by 3500rpm, and 1.4 bar by 3500rpm. Its almost like they spool too quick!

Thanks Martin. I do appreciate the quick spool up of the K16s a lot, so this might be just what the doctor ordered for a future mod. I look forward to seeing the pricing information released, and thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
