10k vs 15k vs 30k mile service? Question on Service Intervals

Hi,

Ok, tried a search on this, but could not find the answer. Any insight is appreciated...this pertains to a CPO'd 05 Turbo S with about 16K miles.

I see a "10,000 Mile service as per Porsche Factory Recommended List." This was at 9K miles. I also have an oil and filter service at 12,500 miles.

Any idea what a 10K mile vs 15K mile service would include
-- obvious (but wrong?) would be the same thing, only 5k miles sooner? I looked on the suggested maintenance log I found online but only see reference to a 15k minor and 30k major service.

Also, should there have been a service BEFORE 9K miles?
My old M3 had a 1500 mile service requirement...

Later on in the service history, I have a 30K mile service listed, but no 15K mile service -- the dealership opted to do a 30k mile service since the car is 4 years old...

Does a dealership that opted for a 30K mile service vs a 15k mile service at time of CPO indicate an issue I am missing?

Any insights are appreciated!

Sign the paperwork on the car tomorrow -- I hope!!!

Thank you.

To reply to my own thread should this come up in a search -- the local dealership seems to think that a 30K mile service at 4 years is a-ok regardless of miles, and that a 10k vs 15k is the same service...
