Plus, I drove 3 hours to the track and ran down the strip without removing anything from my car, heating up the tires, swapping tires, or even lowering my tire pressure.

I shocked a lot of people that day.

so since you own both nicely modded up cars you drive the vette or the p car more often?

Scott, I did not know that was your vid. I laughed my ass off at the guys comment when I first saw this vid sometime ago. Truly a testament to your driving ability. Probably only Jamie could best that number in the same car, and even then that would be tough. I would be running low to mid 11's in the same car. So the diver mod is one of the best mods for sure.

+ 1 !!!

I built my car to Scott's specs and here is my best:

60' = 1.902
330' = 4.935
1/8 = 7.319
1/8 mph = 105.28
1000' = 9.35
1/4 mile et = 11.036
trap == 134.46

19" Michelin PS2's AWD, full weight with cage, etc.
organic clutch disc and factory dual mass flywheel

Launch and quick shifts (I often wonder if the "TYPE" of clutch makes a difference?

any 60ft under 2 is good in these cars. I'd didn't see Scotts 60ft but I am guessing right at 1.6 or so. then add some more for quicker shifting and you are there. your trap speed was almost identical.
