Peter and Blkmgk are the only people to catch on really. STD is another correction factor much like the more widely used SAE. I have noticed people on here post up STD correction factors and I usually don't say anything; so I wanted to be like the cool kids. SAE with smoothing on 0 here is how the graph looks..
I noticed it as well, but don't really care either way. Even using SAE you will see totally different numbers with different dyno operators, or on different days, or at different locations and with different types of dynos, so it's never a truly accurate science no matter what you do.
The fact is, your car is making very good power and I have no doubt that your trap speed and 60-130 times (all that really matter, IMO), will reflect that. Honestly, unless your participating in a dyno competition, the dyno #s really don't mean much.
BIG Congrats Chris. Truly impressed. I know for sure that you will be able to go out very soon and back up those dyno numbers with numbers that matter. An easy mid 140 trap and a low 5 sec 60-130 is almost inevitable 1st time out. Think drag radials!!!!

Your getting me excited to start making upgrades...The only thing I can't figure out is why our 996tt motors usually fall between 6-7rpm's and then go up slightly in the end. Most cars would go up or fall towards the end, not both, lol.
Chris, i got you pm late last night as i was leaving work congrats man thats just frickin nasty!!! happy for ya , see.... patience my freind ... it pays off lol.

Very true, but the STD factor just inflates ANY numbers that you post. Common/standard cf has always been SAE. In any event, moot point, SICK numbers, this car might touch 4 seconds 60-130........
Peter
p.s. Scott, I sent you 2 PM's and 1 email, you get them?

Peter,
I got the email with the GTR info. Thanks. I'll reply to the PMs in a few minutes.
Like I said before the week I get it back will be full of testing 1/4 mile and 60-130. I'd love to break into the high 4s, but I know I'll probably stuck in the low 5 area. We will have to see though. I really did not expect these turbos to make this much power at 1.5bar, esp. with the fact that it has 0 timing in it too.
The billet 58s are extremely efficient and the power/spool came out better than I expected. Our 6" intercoolers are the final piece in providing the powerband at the boost levels we are running. We will update you guys with higher power numbers soon

I do believe that this car may break the 5 second barrier for 60-130.
It would do it in the rain!
