vacuum side leak through the turbo inlet area from oversized clamp that would not tighten onto compressor. on both sides.
Mike, I am going to do a full pressure test of the entire engine from intake all the way to exhaust. I don't want anything amiss when I turn up the boost. Have you done that yet?
I had the same leak!!

Also got to look at where the power band is. two 700 whp cars that operate in different power ranges will put different stress on the motors. A smaller turbo like a GT30 may actually put more stress on the rods since it is making more torque low in the rpm range which is abusive. Still, how can anyone argue with the need for beefing up internals at 700 whp mark. I think there are enough examples out there by now.

Frankly, 650WHP n the street is enough to pin you to the seat and run down most cars. Push 700WHP and you have to worry more about driveline and building a transaxle in these is about as much "fun" as a motor it seems. If I were hitting 700WHP I'd be pretty happy so long as it was a safe tune and not ripping parts to pieces. In my Supra that was good enough to roast the tires at 70MPH and it was QUITE exciting! For now, a low 600 will keep me most happy and that's not too hard to obtain with 3.6liters!
Good luck man, that will be a HANDFUL , what a beast!!!
