update: it also took out the rod on the other side, the piston came out with the cyl walls

everything LOOKED fine on that side....the rod is in a position that has to bee seen to believe

bits and pieces of piston ring/piston were coming out the timing chain cover

i keep getting deeper, more of the story keeps unfolding!

Will we be told what happened with the engine? Power level, supporting mods, how it broke (just driving, dragracing, road racing, highway blast?)?

I honestly don't know, i got a call about getting a set of alphas for the new engine and I asked what the guy was doing with his old engine because I wanted one for display purposes.
