Need some advice
I'm interested in getting my 1st porsche & in my price range it seems I'm looking at a 996tt. With that said I found a couple I like I guess my ? Is this a good deal? And is the interior isn't my 1st choice but its different. As long as it all checks out with inspection is it a good price & is the mileage too high or should I wait save more $$ and get a lower mileage one. Thanks for any help.

Generally I agree with your decision but this is a bit off. Does this mean we can not link to anything unless it's a vendor sponsored page now?

GT3 CHuck.. Why edit a link to Cars.com? He's trying to seek advice on a purchase which will allow him to becoming a member here and using the vendors.

Rules are rules. If we **** off the sponsors and they go away, then they'll be no forum..so chuck is really protecting all our interests.
The rule has been NO links to any COMMERCIAL venture that isnt a sponsor.
So you can link to other pages that are info, and content- just not something that is sale-able.
(As if this controls what people buy, right? Just highlight the info in the link that chuck 'unlinked', and paste it into a browser... a very, very, very silly rule, but one which some mods police with total vigor. Again, for our own protection.

The rule is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be changed, links to eBay or autotrader etc should be allowed, it's not like a sponsor is also trying to sell this exact car and it would be taking away his business.
Pretty this isn't a rule on rennlist which is owned by the same company so dont understand why it would be here.

Back to topic....
Personally the silver and blue is a nice combo. It all depends on what you will be happy with...it's your ride. That being said my advice is by priority:
1). High grade/clean PPI
2). No Type 1 or 2 overrevs
3). Well maintained with documented service records
4). Exterior and interior in good shape
There are quite a few of these TT's out there for sale...so my only advice is to get a clean, loved one and don't compromise on the color you want (exterior/interior). The price you mention I believe is fair. (Probably some room for negotitation) I searched for awhile to get the PPI, color combo and features I wanted. Never compromise.
