who does 996tt dyno tune in socal, got my 2002 996tt tip tronic, i did upgraded billet turbo wheels with turbosmart 24psi wg, 3.8L engine sleeved pistons 102mm and h beam rods. bigger intercoolers, 1200cc bosch injectors, 5 bar fuel regulator, 525 hellcat pump, 82mm gt3 throttle body, ipd plenum, custom intercooler piping. looking to run straight e85. let me know what you guys recommend.

 

Seems like Cobb (Sam By Design) or Marski (911 Tuning) are the popular options these days. Since you are in SoCal, make sure you keep a copy of the STOCK TUNE, as this will be needed to pass smog. Todd at Protomotive did my tune (mods in signature), he also provided me with a stock tune to pass CA smog, as I had to visit the referree recently, had to install stock exhaust and headers as well, it passed. He has always treated me well, and is responsive, not sure how his pricing compares, but he definately knows what he is doing.

GIAC used to be in Irvine, looks like there are in RSM now, I haven't heard their name thrown around much in recent memory, sure they could do it, but I would probably lean towards remote tune with Cobb/Sam or Marski/911 Tuning.

ps. Just re-read your post, hope you have a good smog guy. CA can be a pain if you get flagged. I never failed a smog test, or got pulled over, and they flagged me for referee based on PRIOR smog checks, saw something they didn't like, likely tuned ECU.

FYI, my high-mile X50 996 Turbo has a COBB tune and I did not reset to stock for CA smog testing. Passed with no issue.
