that's very arctic. i've had both ( that's how common silver tt's are ) my current tt is arctic and the polar definitely had the blue tint. a very "80's" kind of overtone but it looked ok with the metropol blue contrast. i could never tell the difference if i were color blind!

you're gonna love that car in canyon driving, but ( if ) stock, the suspension's going to be lacking.. angeles crest is good driving, but not tight like these roads. we run the canyons, NW LA county line to pch.. up and around.. that's all i can really say. but always follow the "basic speed law". ha.

 

I'm pretty sure I know the roads you are talking about; nice out there but you have to get there early or it gets too crowded for my liking. The San Gabriels are always pretty quiet, which is nice.

Suspension is indeed stock but feels surprisingly tight. I'll need to take it out on some canyon roads first to get a better feel for it though. I'm pretty mellow these days, so it may be good enough . I'll get used to the car first before doing anything to it; I doubt I'll outdrive it anytime soon.

 

agreed. weekdays are best.. i just had to avoid 1000 bicyclists! and yeah, we'll never "outdrive" the car. i often say i run out of cojones before power..and lowered with spring might be all you need. very inexpensive and it'll help keep ya flat thru corners. best thing to do is try others setups if ya can. again, if ya ever get up this way..... cheers.

 

Finally have my headlights back tonight; they look near brand new! Anyway, I finally could take it for a quick drive with the fresh oil. Car drives great! Boost nicely builds up to 0.7 bar. Can't wait for a quick canyon drive!

 

I have a question for you!

After I clay bar my car do I need to buff it with some compound? Not sure if the Jetseal will cover up fine scratches or not! I have to set up my big lights to see them but they are there for sure.

I think you and I have the same idea of clean! Lol

My car is also all serviced up and ready to roll! I am boosting up to 1.2 bar! I am running a GMG K24/K26 Turbo setup! Good Times!

If you have scratches, best to buff them out with a machine by someone that knows what they're doing. That's the only thing I typically outsource . I would also do my claying after scratches have been removed; it will actually make it easier since some areas will already be clean and smooth.

The Jetseal won't really cover up any blemishes. Swirls may appear a bit lighter but it will just come back.

 

Thanks Buddy! I am pretty handy with a buffing wheel! Think I will lightly run over it to make it have that "New" Look! I used some of the Jetseal and Wax on the tail to see how it would turn out and it looks fantastic! That wax is among some of the best I have used!

 

It's pretty good stuff; lasts a long time too. Once you're be done, it will be smooth as glass!
