Production Volume 2001 to 2003 996TT X50

I am new to your blog and find the information available fascinating. I am trying to find information on the actual production volume of 2003 911 Turbo with the X50 option. I just bought mine VIN # WP0AB29943S686175. The closest I have come is that there were a total of 4630 996TTs produced. I have called PCA and Porsche NA and Germany with no luck so far.

Is there a book availalbe with this information?

Lol new to the Internet I take it

Let me interpolate
"+1" would signify that he too would be interested in a response to your query.

"Also x50 + PCCB"
Meaning in addition to your intital inquiry he would be interested in further supplemental data concerning the number of units sold with both the x50 package and the porsche carbon ceramic brake packages

Perhaps you are correct. You bought the 2005 Turbo S for the same reason I bought the 2003 Turbo X50. Enjoy. I still cannot find actual production volume information. This site does not have any. I am waiting for information from Porsche, NA Atlanta and Germany.

I think you are right, but I simply did a cut and paste. It would be nice to see official information. I have never had this much difficulty to get very detailed production data on any other car (including color). I will post whatever I learn.

wolfhedge #s are correct (post #9). You will not find a breakdown of the X50 or S as these are options, not models.
