The Barbaric 996TT Build
#1
Hello everyone,
I've decided to start a thread to take you on the journey with me. I became an owner of the Porsche 996 TT September last year, car was pretty stock. I have always dreamed of owning a 996 turbo and finally got my hands on the colour I wanted.
Since then, i've started buying collecting parts. My car is currently at the body shop getting painted and having the Techart GT-street kit installed. I've decided to change the colour to Lamborghini's Gilano Orion Pearl. My car is in the possess of being stripped and I will be heading down to the shop on Monday to take pictures.
Before I continue I have to give all the thanks to my buddy Jay "TwinRacinJason", Garth & Lawrence from Undercover & SamBoTT.
Once my car is finished from the body shop, It will be strapped up on the trailer and I'd be heading down the Undercover Performance in New Jersey... Garth will then take over and do his magic.

Luckily I was able to source out the Techart Type-1 wing it's now discontinued . I was debating on going with the GT-Street deck lid... but I could see my self letting go of the carbon-

No I plan on leaving it all in CF and painting the wing to the matching colour of the car.
I have a few CF pieces that are going on the exterior that would blend in really nice.. I have the vents on my Techart rear bumper in matching CF to the deck lid, the Techart air scoop separator is in CF, my Mirriors are going to be in CF, also the front bumper grill and Lip in CF.
Yea I was shocked when I found out as well. They had a ridiculous price tag.

I've always loved the pearl look..
And I think it would match really nicely on the the 996.
I find the speed yellow a little to dull for my taste .

can't wait to see the end result. sadly for me i don't think mine will be done until i run out of money!
