Hey everyone, recently I had an issue with a lower boost hose separating from the stock intercooler, tried several different methods of getting it to stay on under higher boost, unfortunately these attempts did not help. I contemplated aftermarket hoses, but after hearing the stock ones have been updated decided to go with stock. Anyway took a side by side comparison shot. The orings have been updated, as well as the clips on the side, allowing for a much more rigid connection.

That said, issue has been solved. On to the next.thought I'd post this for anyone considering stock vs oem.

Where is a good place to get them? I could use a new upper drivers side.

+1 on where you got them, seen a few different online sources. Need to get a set of upper and lowers.

 

I got them from ecs tuning. Most affordable I found online.

 

Also worth mentioning, when buying the hose, it comes with a new o ring. I didn't know so I bought a separate one.
