Loose hose from air pump.

Looking for some input.

I have a loose hose connecting to #18 in the diagram. The one facing downward is the one that is loose, I have no idea where to look for the connection.

The engine is slightly lowered. I had the air pump disconnected but still cannot see anything where it might attach.

Any input is appreciated.

this the t fitting all the way in the back at the top of the oil tank. the 2 hoses from the turbos oil tank connect to it for venting. only way to get to it is to drop the motor as far as possible and likely have to remove the secondary air pump, power steering pump disconnect and lay it outside the car with the hoses still attached and maybe the a/c compressor with the hoses attached and reach as far as possible. a squeeze clamp is on each hose and a complete pain to try to get a pair of pliers to grab and squeeze it.

here it is good luck your going to bleed on this one

your pointing to the vent line to the oil tank
I think the OP is talking about the line that connects to the bottom of n75 valve....those split at the T and goes to the wastegate on each turbos...or am i looking at the wrong number

air pump as in SAI? is #1 which valve 17 is attached to

#40 you're referring to is attached to n75 valve #44 which is attached on the right side of Ypipe right before the TB

The fitting which my index finger touches, is the one which the connects to both actuator valves. The hose on which my thumb lies connects to Thats the hose which goes to the the N75 valve.

After looking at the diagram, #18 is the hose that is loose, and I cannot seem to locate the other end of it.

32krazy you were correct in the photo, I had confused myself in the diagram.

As far as the connector, it may be that the N75 valve has been replace before, resulting in a different clamp used than the original one, which are awful to work with anyway.

There are like five #18s in the diagram. Which one exactly?

So I am still working on the air injection situation I have.

I have one connection left to make.

It is the middle connecter on the change over valve #17. The #28 vacuum line need to be connected to the cut off valve #14.

Problem is how to get to #14?

Tracing the #12 hose to #14 it goes under the fuel rail in between the runners of the im.

Does the power steering pump need to come off? Can anyone guide me in getting to the cut off valve?

Thanks!

if the part you need to get to is under the manifold theres only one way to get at it. drape a large towel over the bumper. remove the p/s and reservoir as one unit and lay it over the bumper with the hoses connected. same for the a/c compressor. you may have to remove the secondary air unit as well. this will give you enough room to get your hands in the to do what you need. any more than that and you will need to drop the motor as low as possible and remove the intake manifold. the clamps on the bottom of the intake mani ports may not allow you access unless the motor is out. its a crapshoot
